Happy New Year! As I sit here and write this I am learning about intentions and finding ways to incorporate them into my own life. Today I will be talking about setting intentions based on some research I’ve done. There is a difference between your new year’s resolutions and setting an intention for the new year. You can read my last post of 2017, which is all about some of my realistic new year’s resolutions!
An intention is a guiding principle for how you want to be, live, and show up in the world—during meditation, yoga or any area of your life. It’s just something you want to align with in your life. It’s an aim, a purpose, or attitude you’d be proud to commit to. An intention must come from your heart, they are not the tangible. They are heart-driven and evoke feeling and purpose. Intentions can create a reality (Mindful Minutes).
My three intentions for 2018:
One | Embrace Change
Two | Connect with Others
Three | To let go and move forward
We welcome you to share your thoughts in the comments below. We would love to start a conversation with you!
