At the end of the year, we can let our healthy lifestyle and focus slip away with the holidays. New year’s resolutions are the perfect way to get back on track and make 2018 an amazing year!
2017 was probably the hardest year I’ve ever had to face but, it has made me believe more in the power of letting go and living in the moment. I’ve always been a planner and love making lists but, sometimes life happens and your plans don’t go as expected. However, looking at the positive side 2017 helped me to discover the world of ethical fashion and slow living, explore my personal wellness more and I’ve finally figured out my post school path. Anyways even though it’s been a very difficult and interesting year it has lead me to this moment and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Here are my personal New Year’s Resolutions:
- Go to an adult jazz class once a week
- Go to Yoga class once a week
- Practice yoga at home once a week
- Stretch/Dance/Workout at home once a week
- Walk to more places
- Read one book a month for pleasure
- Do guided meditation with intention twice a week
- Sleep for at least 8 hours every night
- Sleep from 11pm to 7am/8am every night
If you want to set something more meaningful for yourself at the beginning of the year like intentions, read this post I did on how to set your new year’s intentions. Intentions tend to be more powerful and you will be more likely to follow through on your intentions rather than your resolutions!
We welcome you to share your thoughts about new year’s resolutions and if you’ve made them this year in the comments below. We would love to start a conversation with you!
Peace and Love,
These sound like great intentions!
Thank you! Hope to stick with them the whole year!
